Simple Context Diagram Drawer (SCDD)

Other Posted on 2008-09-12 16:27:16

What is SCDD
Simple context diagram drawer is a program that let you draw context diagrams very easy!

What is a Context Diagram?

A Context Diagram is a visual illustration of a System (usually a software based system).
It is used in the early stages of a project, to get agreement on what in- and out-put data there should be in the system.

Rules about Context Diagrams
There are 3 items in a context diagram; the box, the arrow and the circle.
The circle represents the process, or the system. There can ONLY be one system in every Context Diagram.
The
box represents external entity. It’s usually a person that interacts
with the system, and therefore sends and receives data from the system.
The
arrow represents the dataflow. The arrow is drawn between the system
(the circle) and the external entities (the boxes), and is marked with
a label telling what data it is. Note, that a dataflow can NOT go from
one external entity to another, since that would be passing data
without using the system, and therefore not relevant for the system!

No internet in 3 weeks…

Other Posted on 2008-06-27 21:24:39

… how am I ever going to survive? smiley

It’s not that bad… Here is what I’m going to do for the next 3 weeks:
I’m going the Roskilde music festival smiley (the largest music festival in Scandinavia (maybe in Northen Europe)) for a week and after that I’m going on a 2 week long holiday at the Mediterranean Sea!

So I guess that what i’m trying to say is that I won’t be able to work on any of my projects here in near future…

hmm… I might make a quick comic strip to celebrate the summer smiley

Other Posted on 2008-05-25 13:32:37

I have been extremely busy with homework, and I do not have time for new projects, either now or in the near future.

However, I am pleased to unveil for my next game, the name will be
“vector maze” … inspired by the paper and pencil game “Vector race” (read more
here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Racetrack_ (game))
I don’t know when the demo will be out!
